Ningfeng Group, wood-based panels since 2003
Ningfeng Group is a Chinese wood-based panel manufacturer with roots in a family business founded in 1984; the group entered the panel industry in 2003 in Jining, Shandong. We have ranked among China's top three producers by panel capacity for eight consecutive years as of 2026, and are one of the largest engineered-panel makers in Asia. Ten continuous-press lines run across 8 production bases in 5 provinces (Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei), with an annual capacity of over 3.6 million m³. Panels reach international markets today through distribution partners.
Ningfeng is a manufacturer in the literal sense: every line is owned and operated by the group, and every board we sell is pressed in our own plants. In an industry where many well-known panel names are brand-and-channel businesses sourcing from independent mills, that distinction is the company.

The founding family starts its first business in Shandong: the roots of what becomes Ningfeng Group.

2003
Ningfeng Group enters the wood-based panel industry. The first factory, Jining Sanlian, begins production in Jining, Shandong.

China's first 8-foot continuous-press particleboard line is commissioned, in Henan.

2014
China's first continuous-press line for ultra-thin fibreboard is commissioned, at Heze Yalian.

2015
Ningfeng becomes the first producer in China to press 1.0 mm ultra-thin fibreboard, at Jining Sanlian.

2019
Ningfeng authors China's first standard for ultra-thin HDF.

2021
ENF formaldehyde-free board ("Ningfeng Blue") launches. Ningfeng ranks top 3 in China by panel capacity for the third year running.

Ningfeng is named a National Leading Forestry Enterprise, in its 20th anniversary year.

International partners
How we work with international partners
Ningfeng supplies factory-direct. The ten lines run standard grades from stock programmes, with custom density, thickness, size and emission class scheduled to order at volume. At home, supply relationships include China's leading cabinetry and furniture makers, among them Suofeiya (Sofia), Qumei, Zbom and OLO, as well as IKEA. Panels already reach international markets through distribution and trading partners, and Ningfeng is now inviting direct relationships with importers, distributors and large furniture manufacturers who want to buy straight from the mill.
